In short

I used to be an electronics designer in the aviation industry, and was a technical author for a few years, but switched to Marketing and the Internet in 2004. Currently I am the Website Manager at Tait Electronics. Although my understanding of cross-functional design aspects is my niche, I like Content Design best. I have a wife, a daughter, and a cat.

Rainbow Layers is my personal website. It is a collection of articles and postings which, amongst other topics, include my views on aspects of Content Design. It also contains my curriculum vitae, bio, and portfolio.

Marietjie: My wife, my inspiration, my moderator, and my sounding board. I should mention that Marietjie has a BA in Information Science, and that her studies stimulated my interest in the field of Information Design. I consider myself fortunate to be married to her.
